Breeze is Hiring: Work for Breeze (and your church)

Posted by Joshua Greenfield on April 11, 2018

The Spring 2018 Hiring Round is complete, but we're still accepting excellent candidates for our Talent Pool for future consideration! See below to apply.

Hi there!
As we continue to grow, we're excited to expand our team. We're currently welcoming applications for positions on our Customer Support team. Breeze Advisors help churches succeed by offering phenomenal training, support, and best practice recommendations to churches as well as assisting prospective churches in deciding if Breeze is right for them.

This is a remote position which means it typically works really well for church workers who have extra time in their schedules, wouldn’t mind a little extra income, and above all have a passion to help and serve other churches around the world.

Historically demand has been very high for these positions. If you’re interested, we’d recommend putting your application in sooner than later. Applications accepted through April 27. You will receive feedback within 6 weeks.

If you’ve applied for this position within the past 12 months, there’s no need to reapply – we already have your application.

Day-to-Day Worklife:

Breeze Advisors offer front-lines contact center support for Breeze Software. The work is best compared with a live call center--fast-paced, customer-focused, problem solving.

  • Help churches who are currently using Breeze by answering questions via live phone calls, voicemail callbacks, social posts, and emails (this job requires quite a bit of talking, for up to 7 hours a shift)
  • Help churches who are currently looking into Breeze decide if it’s the right fit for their church
  • Work remotely from wherever you’re at in the USA (assuming a noise-controlled, distraction-free environment)

Our Ideal Team Member:

  • Highly driven to serve our customers efficiently in a fast contact center environment
  • Ridiculously social, energetic, and phenomenal at both email and phone communication (introverts and extroverts welcome)
  • Work well in a high-feedback (vertically, both directions, team lead to you and you to team lead, and horizontally to peers) culture. We believe this drives innovation when it's safe to share openly. We strive for excellence, want your brilliance and will respect your thoughts, even in the midst of competing opinions.
  • Willing to put team needs above individual needs--lacks ego
  • An insatiable drive to solve (not deflect) problems. Creativity is the name of the game.

  • Have contact center customer service experience
  • Have experience using Breeze or another Church Management System
  • Have remote work experience
  • Experience with Breeze Support's technology stack (e.g., Zendesk, Slack, Zoom, Humanity, Jing/Snagit)
  • 2+ year(s) of support experience in a technology environment comparable to Breeze:
-Ability to clearly articulate complex thoughts in any situation, from having a technical discussion with a web developer to working with a non-technical user
-Ability to manage time and prioritize efficiently
-Ability to create ‘How To’ videos, knowledge base articles, application walk-throughs, or other similar content

  • Available for at least 25 hours a week in a variety of shift options including 6, 8, or 10 hours between the hours of 8am – 6:30pm ET (Mon – Fri)

1+ year(s) of academic or technical experience with:

  • Desktop and mobile operating systems
  • All major browsers and versions
  • Common web protocols and technologies such as HTTP, FTP, email deliverability; and network connectivity

  • Have reliable access to an appropriate work location where you can take telephone & video calls and record high-quality video & audio without interruption, distraction, or background noise
  • Have a strong, stable broadband internet connection that can handle simultaneous Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) calls, streaming video, and comparable high-bandwidth applications (typically, 10 Mbps download / 1.5 Mbps upload at a minimum)

  • $15/hr during 3-month Training Phase, then $16/hr
  • Comprehensive Benefits vary based on hours and may include generous Paid Time Off (PTO), paid Holidays, paid Jury Duty Leave, paid Maternity/Paternity Leave, Compassion Leave for death of family member or close friend, Employer Contribution to Retirement Plan (upon eligibility), Life Insurance (paid by Breeze), Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage (paid by Breeze), Short and Long Term Disability (paid by Breeze)
  • All Expense Paid Company Retreats
  • Multiple paid virtual social event breaks throughout the week

We love our team, and are honored you'd consider working for Breeze. If selected, you'd join a team of people who love what they do serving churches and have a great time doing it.

Easiest System for our Small ministry!

I cannot say enough about Breeze. Their customer service is so friendly, you feel like you have friends and family helping you get started, they're prompt to reply and will do whatever they can to help you get things sorted out. It's been so easy to learn, our staff is loving it and best of all even our staff who are not computer savvy find it a breeze (pun intended). We are just thrilled by our choice.
