Here's a recap of all the major updates and enhancements for Breeze in Q3 of 2020.
We’re excited to announce that the Events Calendar section of Breeze has been fully revamped and is now in beta!
With this update comes many enhancements, including the ability to easily switch between day, week, or month view to see your events in the view most helpful for you. In addition, we’ve greatly improved the load time of calendars, making it faster to switch between different months and views.
Under the new mini calendar, you can now easily add, edit, and remove calendars from Breeze and give them custom colors.
With the new recurring events feature, you'll no longer need to create individual entries for events that recur. You can now create daily, weekly, bi-weekly, yearly, or custom recurring events, making it easier to add, edit, or delete events as a group.
You can learn more about all the new features and changes by visiting our Events Calendar Beta article.
We recently launched a new help widget within Breeze to make it even easier for you to quickly find the answer to your questions. The new widget even makes suggestions based off of common questions asked for the page you’re on in Breeze.
You’ll find the new widget on the following pages in Breeze:
Wow, what a quarter it’s been! The past three months alone we’ve grown our staff by 26%, adding new team members across our product, engineering, and support teams.
Every day we strive to provide you the most Breezy experience possible, and with our new team members we’ll be able to do that even better.
Stay tuned for some exciting things in the works!
In order to keep Breeze moving forward and as user-friendly as possible, we sometimes have to make changes that require us to sunset old versions of sections of Breeze. While we launched a new version of our Volunteer Management section quite a while ago, we kept the old section active to allow users to slowly transition.
In September, we closed the doors on our old version of Volunteer Management. If you haven't started taking advantage of the new version of Volunteer Management you can learn more about it in our Getting Started article.
The internet and technology are constantly changing. Older browsers like Internet Explorer are quickly being left behind as newer browsers like Chrome and Edge are forging the way. In order to keep Breeze running as optimally as possible we've joined many other companies in discontinuing support for Internet Explorer.
If you’re still using Internet Explorer, we recommend switching to a more modern browser, such as Google Chrome.
We’ve been amazed to hear all the stories of how reopen.church has helped churches everywhere be able to reopen their church building and still follow their state guidelines on social distancing.
By request, we’ve made two updates:
We hope these changes will help make reopen.church work even better for you and your church.
We're constantly making improvements and fixing bugs that occasionally creep into our system. Our engineers are hard at work to make sure you love using Breeze!
We look forward to continue sharing product updates and enhancements as we strive to be the world’s easiest web-based church management software for small and mid-sized churches. Cheers to you for all your work in ministry!
We'd love to show you what we built!
